LTE broadband provides an internet connection which travels to your home without wires by using the mobile phone network. Discreet outside equipment receives the signal, connected by a wire to a router within your home which provides both WiFi and wired connections.

Over the past few years the cost of LTE broadband has plummeted to a point where it can now be cheaper than fixed line broadband with pricing currently starting at around £20 per month.
Here at CSCymru we offer a complete service from start to finish usually beginning with a free telephone consultation followed by a thorough on-site survey using our specialised LTE antennae which can have an almost limitless cable length, unlike some systems which will compromise speed if the antenna is located more than just a few metres from the internal router.
During the survey, we will determine the precise position and type of antenna that we will be using. This flexible system allows us to place the antenna as high or as far away from your router as we need it to be in order to capture the signal and ensure that we obtain the fastest and most stable broadband connection possible for you.

The Welsh Government broadband grant scheme explained
If you live within Wales, experience poor broadband speeds and there aren’t any plans to bring fibre infrastructure to your area in the near future then you may be entitled to a grant from Welsh Government. In order to determine this, we will carry out a no-obligation site survey at your premises and we can then assist you in completing the necessary online application if required.
Welsh Government will process your application and will inform you once it is approved. You should then contact us to arrange a mutually convenient date and time for us to install your new superfast LTE broadband system.
All of the above services are totally free of charge.
The installation process
We will install a SIM card on the best mobile network available into the external unit during the installation and a thin cable is then connected from the unit to a router inside your property. This looks just like a normal landline router. The router then transmits wifi within your property and you simply connect to it in the normal way by using a password. All of this then eliminates the need to retain your slow broadband via a long copper cable from the telephone exchange possibly several miles away. Part of this process will also involve a discussion with you, the customer, about the placement of the antenna so that it is as discreet as possible but without compromising the signal. Both of the antennae that we use employ CAT 6 LTE modems which can enable carrier aggregation which allows the device to use more than one band simultaneously meaning higher efficiency and therefore better reception in rural areas if the networks should become busy.
